Shenzhen Kedes Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. (“Kedes Machine,” “we,” “us”) operates kedesmachine.com and supplies on-site machining and welding-preparation equipment to business customers worldwide. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to send us. Typically this includes:

Inquiry details — name, company, country, email, phone / WhatsApp number, and the technical specification or message you submit via our quote form, email, or WhatsApp.
Technical attachments — drawings, WPS documents, pipe schedules or photographs you voluntarily share so we can scope a quotation.
Server logs — standard request data (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) generated by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

2. How we use it

To answer your inquiry and prepare a quotation.
To follow up on an open RFQ, shipment, or after-sales request.
To send order-related correspondence (proforma invoices, packing lists, shipping documents).
To maintain the security and integrity of our website.

We do not send marketing newsletters unless you explicitly request them.

3. Who has access

Inquiries are handled by the Kedes Machine sales-engineering team in Shenzhen. We share information with third parties only when strictly necessary to deliver your order, namely:

Freight forwarders and customs brokers, for shipment.
Banks and payment processors, for invoicing.
Our email and hosting providers, who act as data processors on our behalf.

4. International transfers

Our servers and team are located in mainland China. When you contact us from outside China, your information will be transferred to and processed in China. By submitting an inquiry you consent to this transfer.

5. Retention

We retain inquiry records and order documentation for as long as needed to support warranty, spare-parts and audit obligations — typically the service life of the equipment plus statutory retention periods under applicable Chinese export and accounting law.

6. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information you have submitted. Email contact@kedesmachine.com from the address used in the original inquiry and we will respond within 30 days. Where the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, or comparable laws apply, you also have the right to object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. Security

We use TLS encryption for the website and all form submissions, restrict internal access to inquiry data on a need-to-know basis, and review our hosting configuration regularly. No system is perfectly secure; please do not send credentials or other sensitive material we did not request.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of the page indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes affecting open inquiries will be communicated by email.
