What a beveling machine actually costs.
Most equipment pages will not put a number in front of you. Here are the real factory-direct ranges by machine type, what moves a machine up or down inside its band, and what is in the box at that price. All figures are FOB Shenzhen — final pricing depends on configuration and volume.
Ranges by machine type
Pipe Beveling Machines
- ID-mount bevelers (ISE · ISC) $2,000
- OD-mount bevelers (SOC · Cam-type) $3,500
- Split-frame clamshell $8,000
- Stationary workshop stations (DCM) $15,000
Plate Beveling Machines
- Handheld plate bevelers (SKF-15) $1,500
- Self-propelled milling (GL series) $4,000
- Traveling edge millers (DMM) $8,000
- Heavy-duty stationary milling $20,000
Pipe Cutting Machines
- Planetary orbital pipe saws $5,000
- Split-frame pipe cutters $8,000
- Combined cut and bevel units $10,000
- Large diameter (48" and above) $15,000
Pipe Facing Machines
- Light-duty tube facers (LPM) $3,000
- Medium-duty facers $5,000
- Heavy-duty end facing machines $10,000

Ranges are indicative and cover the current catalogue. Flange facing, weld seam removal, chamfering, slag removal and orbital welding systems are quoted per configuration — ask for a figure and you will get one.
What moves the price
Six variables account for nearly all of the spread inside a series. They are listed in the order they usually matter.
Working range
Pipe diameter and wall thickness, or plate thickness. A larger range means a heavier frame and a bigger drive — this is the single largest driver of price within any one series.
Drive type
Electric is the baseline. Pneumatic costs more for the same capacity and is specified where a hot-work permit rules out electrics; hydraulic is for heavy wall and carries the cost of the power pack.
Bevel geometry
A single-angle V-prep needs one insert. Compound bevels, J-prep and counterboring need dedicated tooling and, on some machines, a different tool slide. Tell us the WPS geometry, not just the angle.
Customisation
Standard configurations are the most cost-effective. Non-standard voltage, special cutter geometry, OEM branding and language variants all add build time.
Order volume
Tiered pricing for distributors and multi-unit orders. Single evaluation units are welcome at standard pricing — we would rather you tested one machine than took our word for it.
Documentation
A CE Declaration of Conformity ships with every unit. Additional regional certification, material certificates or a qualification data package are quoted on request.
